On the south side of Raleigh, the Town of Garner has witnessed rapid growth over the last decade and is now one of many, family-friendly communities within the Research Triangle. While much of the Town’s recent growth has occurred south of Highway 70, the town’s historic center, on the north side of Highway 70, has struggled to maintain its vitality and identity. To sustain and revitalize the historic town center Urban Collage and a team of collaborators is are developing a market-based master plan to guide investment, redevelopment and new development in the downtown area.
